This Giving Tuesday, December 1st, we're kicking off a special campaign to support the nearly 90 retired Thoroughbreds who call Akindale home. While their racing days may be behind them, their need for care never ends.
Every single day, our horses depend on us for nutritious meals, veterinary care, farrier visits, medications, shelter, and everything else that goes into a happy, healthy retirement. Providing lifelong sanctuary is a commitment we make 365 days a year, and it's one we couldn't fulfill without the generosity of people like you.
This Giving Tuesday, we're asking you to help us keep that promise.

We're excited to announce that Thorndale Farm has generously offered to match donations up to $10,000 this Giving Tuesday!
That means every eligible dollar donated can go twice as far toward providing the care our sanctuary horses need. With your help, we have the opportunity to turn $10,000 in donations into $20,000 for our horses!
